Our founder, Evhenia Shulha, spent years trying to find decent comedy writing instruction in Ukrainian. Most resources were either too theoretical or focused on standup performance rather than actual writing craft. So in 2025, she decided to create what she wished existed. Mordlek became a place where you learn comedy writing through doing, not just reading about it. We focus on practical exercises, immediate feedback through interactive quizzes, and a gamified approach that makes the learning process actually enjoyable.
